BASS OR BASS ?

Despite the apparent differences between bass sounds and bass fish, they share some intriguing similarities. Both are recognized for their deep, low frequencies - the bass sound in music and the bass fish in water. The word "bass" is derived from the Italian term "basso," which means "low," indicating that "bass" refers to something that is deep and low-pitched, whether in music or fishing. As we commemorate Memorial Day in 2024, we proudly pay tribute to the brave men and women who served in the Armed Forces. Their unwavering dedication and those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country will always be remembered. Let us pay tribute to  their memory by continuing to provide unwavering support and care for our veterans and their families, and never forget the sacrifices made for this country.

GOOD FRIDAY 2024

At 700 NET, we are passionate about GMRS Radio  and communication. Our community strives to bring enthusiasts from around the Las Vegas valley together, fostering an environment of sharing knowledge and experiences. As we enter the spring season, we reflect on the history and significance of Good Friday, where we commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus. This holiday is followed by Easter, which observes the resurrection of Jesus. We encourage our members to observe these holidays by using their GMRS Radio  to connect with like-minded individuals.

THE GLOMAR RESPONSE

The Glomar Response is a term used to describe a response given by the US government to a Freedom of Information Act request in the 197s. It involved the CIA neither confirming nor denying existence of a project recover a sunken Soviet submarine. The term has since been used to describe similar responses by other government agencies.

The History of GMRS

Radio

Dating back to the 1930s, GMRS radio has a fascinating history. Initially reserved for military use, GMRS radios were made available to the public in the 1980s. Nowadays, they are extensively used for both personal and business communication, providing dependable and long-distance communication features.
